Rebecca S. Wescott, PE
President & CEO
Rebecca (Becky) was born in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and grew up in Virginia Beach. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structures, at Old Dominion University, and with over 30 years experience in commercial construction, she has been Engineer of Record for hundreds of high profile projects in Charlotte and all over the East Coast.
She is innately talented in predicting structural behavior, having scored in the 99th national percentile on the Mechanical Reasoning Differential Aptitude Test, and she has a sensitivity for detail that sets her apart from the field. With strong experience in concrete and steel, her work is not just about crunching numbers, it’s about helping clients achieve successful projects through smart engineering and practical details.
“I have always been captivated by excellent design. When I was a child, I was fascinated with buildings – more specifically, the juxtaposition of lines that made up great architecture. While the other kids were playing chase, I could be found sketching the giant trusses in the barn. To me, they were magnificent! Today, I continue to approach structures with that same enthusiasm. With a background in event management, Cameron is passionate about networking, with a focus on creating and maintaining important relationships. In her spare time,Cameron enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
